Caron Woolsey

FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

Inspired as a young girl amidst the Creole and French Colonial architecture of New Orleans, I developed a reverence for the beauty of historic homes, captivated by the stories of the people who dwelt within them so long ago. Even then, the relationship between form and function and the personalities of a home’s inhabitants were discernible in my budding appreciation of design.

I have since cultivated an uncanny ability to marry aesthetic allure with the unique, lovely personas of those for whom I design. More than anything, I believe that a home should be a visually stunning reflection of its occupants. Balancing elegance with livability, my designs reference the past, plan for the future, and integrate each client’s distinctive attributes to make each result truly one-of-a-kind.

It is my mission to help clients discover the remarkable enchantment that only their stories can convey. My designs transform a house into a curated home that is chic, elegant, and thoughtful.

Allison Taylor

LEAD DESIGNER

Design is more than my career; it is my calling. An innate talent that I’ve had for as long as I can remember. As a child, it manifested itself in fashion, and I began putting looks together as early as the first time my mom took me shopping. As I grew older, my attention turned to interiors and I developed a fascination with mixing color, texture, shapes, and sizes. After my mastery of those skills, I shifted my focus to how people use their spaces and how those spaces reflect personality.

I love getting to know clients and am intrigued by how personality drives design style; how two people could, on paper, have the same aesthetic goals, but when explored and developed, produce two completely different yet beautiful spaces.

I knew CWI was the place for me when I learned of Caron’s objective to tailor spaces so specifically to her clients. This approach stimulates me creatively so that I am able to design spaces that provide lasting happiness for our clients.

Elizabeth Johnson

CPA + CFO

My role at CW Interiors is a perfect blend of my personal and professional experiences. I grew up in the midwest, starting in Missouri and then attending Kansas State University where I graduated with a Masters in Accounting. After graduation, I moved south to Texas were I earned my CPA license and began working in public accounting. I enjoyed working with clients, assisting them with their business needs and learning about a variety of industries.

I was taken away from Texas while my husband and I relocated to Nebraska and Wyoming, following his work and starting our family. These experiences convinced me that it takes three years to truly feel settled in a new place. Thankfully, I love the process of decorating and changing houses to be a perfect fit. I enjoyed this role with pre-owned houses and also building a new home from the ground up.

In 2016, we returned to Texas, now with 3 daughters in tow. We found a place in a perfect location in The Woodlands, but the house was in need of a face lift. With the benefit of experience, I enlisted the help of CW Interiors, and my finished home was featured in the Houston Chronicle! I joined the CWI team officially in 2021, bringing together my expertise in accounting and my love of making things beautiful.

Let’s work together.
